Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-05

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Rovvi collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to everything we run under rovvi.dev andtraining.rovvi.net — the AI training course, the AI Ambassador marketplace (where customers find AI Advisors and Project Managers), and Protected Payments, our milestone escrow. It is the companion to our Terms of Service andCookie Policy. It is not legal advice.

By using Rovvi you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who we are

Rovvi operates the training course and the AI Ambassador marketplace and acts as the data controller for the account and platform data described below. When you engage another user through the marketplace — for example a Customer hiring an AI Advisor — each party is an independent controller of the information the other shares with them directly to do the work.

Information we collect

How we use your information

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to provide the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to secure the platform, prevent fraud, and improve the product),legal obligation (tax, accounting, and compliance), and consent (for any optional communications, which you can withdraw at any time).

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service. After closure we retain what we must for legitimate business and legal reasons — for example, transaction, escrow, tax, and accounting records are kept for the periods required by law; dispute and mediation records are kept to enforce our Terms. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, and a payment flow that keeps card data with Stripe rather than on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of a breach where the law requires.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR/UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these, contact us through the contact page. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.

Cookies

Rovvi uses cookies that are essential to run the training and our brokering services — sign-in, security, escrow, and your light/dark preference. Because they are essential, using Rovvi requires them. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Full details are in theCookie Policy.

International transfers

Rovvi and our service providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for those transfers.

Children

Rovvi is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or transact on the marketplace. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are posted here with a new "last updated" date, and where the law requires, we will notify you. Your continued use of Rovvi after an update means you accept the revised policy.
