Why Rovvi exists

Rovvi started with a layoff.

Our founder lost his job when his company was acquired — and then ran headfirst into how hard it had become to find the next one. He wasn't alone. All around him, talented colleagues and friends who'd been displaced in the same wave were stuck on the same two problems: they couldn't find a straight, trustworthy place to actually learn AI — the skill everyone suddenly wanted — and once they had it, they had nowhere good to turn it into work.

The advice out there was noise. Courses were either shallow hype or academic overkill. And the path from “I can build this” to “someone will pay me to build this” ran through recruiters, agencies, and resellers who took a large cut and slowed everything down.

So Rovvi was rebuilt around those two things — and nothing else.

Skip the middleman — keep the protection

Traditionally, getting this kind of work done meant going through a VAR, a staffing agency, or a recruiter — layers of markup sitting between the person doing the work and the business paying for it. Rovvi cuts those layers out. You deal directly.

But direct doesn't mean unprotected. Rovvi keeps every safeguard a good VAR provides — vetted, verified people, clear agreements, and Protected Payments: money held in escrow and released only when both sides sign off, so advisors always get paid and customers always get what they paid for. Same protection. None of the middleman markup.
